Terms of Use

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Forgettable mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), operated by Forgettable Pte. Ltd. (“Forgettable,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
 

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. Forgettable is not responsible for any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
 

2. Description of the Services

Forgettable is a technology platform designed to help users store insurance policies, extract and summarise policy information using artificial intelligence, and better understand insurance coverage.

Certain features of the Services allow Financial Advisors to upload policy documents, link individuals to their account, and invite individuals to use the Forgettable application.

Forgettable is not an insurer, insurance broker, financial advisor, legal advisor, intermediary, or fiduciary, and does not provide regulated financial, insurance, or legal advice.
 

3. Global Availability

The Services are made available for use worldwide. Availability of certain features may vary by jurisdiction.

Use of the Services does not guarantee compliance with local laws or regulations outside of Singapore. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your access to and use of the Services complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional obligations in your jurisdiction.
 

4. Financial Advisor Accounts

Financial Advisors may create a Financial Advisor account to access advisor-specific features of the Services.

Financial Advisors are solely responsible for:

• Holding and maintaining any licences, registrations, or approvals required in their jurisdiction

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards

• Any advice, representations, or services they provide to individuals

Forgettable does not supervise, endorse, or guarantee any advisory relationship and is not a party to any agreement between a Financial Advisor and an individual.
 

5. Linking Individuals and Data Ownership

Financial Advisors may link individuals to their account for the purpose of uploading insurance policies and viewing AI-generated summaries.

Linking an individual does not transfer ownership of data. Individuals retain full ownership and control of their accounts, uploaded documents, and personal data at all times.

Forgettable does not control, manage, or assume responsibility for the relationship between Financial Advisors and individuals.
 

6. Plans, Subscriptions, and Limits

Forgettable may offer different plans for Financial Advisors, including Free and Pro plans, each subject to specific features and usage limits as described at the time of subscription.

• Free plans may limit the number of individuals linked to a Financial Advisor account.

• Pro plans may allow unlimited linked individuals and may include Premium access for individuals linked to the Advisor.

Forgettable may modify plans, features, limits, or pricing from time to time with reasonable notice.
 

7. Policy Uploads and AI-Generated Summaries

Users and Financial Advisors may upload insurance policy documents to the Services.

Uploaded documents are processed using artificial intelligence to extract and summarise policy information for convenience and informational purposes only. Users and Financial Advisors are responsible for ensuring that any documents uploaded to the Services are accurate, complete, and correspond to the correct insurance policy, insurer, coverage type, and policy period. Forgettable is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated summaries that result from incomplete, outdated, incorrect, or misidentified documents being uploaded, including where documents relate to the wrong policy, policy year, or insurer.
 

AI-generated summaries:

• May be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated

• Do not replace original policy documents

• Do not constitute legal, financial, insurance, or professional advice

You are responsible for reviewing original policy documents and making independent decisions.
 

8. Invitations and Independent Use

Financial Advisors may invite individuals to join the Forgettable application.

Individuals may use the Services independently at any time. Invitation links do not create an exclusive, permanent, or guaranteed relationship between a Financial Advisor and an individual.
 

9. Downgrades, Unlinking, and Account Changes

If a Financial Advisor downgrades from a Pro plan to a Free plan, no data is deleted. However, applicable plan limits and feature restrictions will apply.

Upon downgrade:

• Individuals previously linked to the Financial Advisor will lose access to Forgettable Premium features

• Individuals may continue using the free version of the Forgettable application

• The connection between the Financial Advisor and those individuals will be removed

• The Financial Advisor will no longer have access to those individuals’ data

Re-upgrading may allow links to be re-established, subject to the applicable plan.
 

10. Data Access and Privacy

Financial Advisors may access only the data of individuals actively linked to their account.
 

Private interactions between individuals and the Forgettable AI are not visible to Financial Advisors.

If an Advisor–individual connection is removed for any reason, the Financial Advisor’s access to that individual’s data is immediately revoked.

Personal data is processed in accordance with Forgettable’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), where applicable.
 

11. Data Security

Forgettable implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect data, including encryption in transit and at rest.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Forgettable does not guarantee absolute security.
 

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent purposes

• Upload content you do not have the right to use

• Attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse AI systems

• Interfere with the integrity or security of the Services

Forgettable may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
 

13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services are owned by Forgettable or its licensors.

You retain ownership of content you upload but grant Forgettable a limited licence to process such content solely to provide and improve the Services.
 

14. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Forgettable makes no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Services or AI-generated outputs.
 

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forgettable shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Services.

Forgettable’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Forgettable in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
 

16. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time.

Forgettable may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to users or the platform.

Termination of a Financial Advisor account does not affect individuals’ independent access to their own accounts or data.

17. Changes to These Terms

Forgettable may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.
